There's big news this issue: Yamaha has become the latest major brand to launch a trike on to the market. The all-new Niken is a leaning trike with twin wheels at the front and it;s got the makings of a whole lot of fun: it looks like a bike, sounds like a bike and leans into corners like a bike.

As ever at Trike magazine, it's not just the big boys we feature: we like to celebrate the talents of custom and one-off builders. Our cover trike, for instance, is Wayne Robert Ransom's superb S&S engined work of art: Phoenix Rising. Then there's Colin Scott-Flintan's incredible supercharged Daimler V8 Hemi machine. And we also have Steven Youngblood's Harley Ironhead based dirt trike which looks like it’s come straight off a Mad Max film set.

More trike goodies come from TrikeShop, which convinces us that more three-wheeler builders should check out the Honda Fury, and Casarva's beautiful conversion of a Honda Valkyrie. Add in a story on the Carver One tilting trike and action from the Rock & Bike Festival, and you've got one rockin' issue!
